Choosing a Real Estate Agent can be a confusing task, unless you decide to use someone you already know in the real estate business or choose based on a recommendation from a friend. We know that works for all of us 50% of the time, right? Sometimes we may prefer not to work with friends, and know fully well the possible risks of doing so.
So how about choosing someone else, you may wonder…
“How can you make an informed choice, as each real estate agent and real estate agency delivers a service that is at its core very similar; and for the same price?”
IT MUST BE SERVICE!
In our opinion, a great majority of traditional Real Estate Companies focus on minimizing the cost of delivering service (sounds like trouble to me) to increase margins and therefore profits. Take for example, if you place a call to your telephone service provider you’ll understand what that means with long delays and impersonal service.
On the other hand, if you think of a full-service gas station you know what we mean. For those who are too young to know, someone would come and pump the gas for you, check the oil and fluid levels; while you sat in your car. In other words, provide you service while you are purchasing a tangible product. That sounds like it could work for real property as well.
